Students must be admitted to the university before a financial award package will be assembled.
The Office of Financial Aid will begin mailing financial award letters during the week of March 1 to admitted students for Fall 2010 who have filed the 10-11 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If admitted students have not completed the FAFSA, Oglethorpe cannot award need-based financial assistance. Oglethorpe strongly encourages all entering students to also complete the Supplemental Financial Aid Form for Freshmen.
Current students who wish to renew their financial aid package for the 2010-11 academic year must also complete the 10-11 FAFSA. Award notification will begin for continuing students in early April.
