Studies (interdisciplinary) - The interdisciplinary major
and minor in
American studies is designed to provide students with the
opportunity to develop a systematic and in-depth understanding of
American culture.
Biopsychology (interdisciplinary) - By its nature, the field
of biopsychology (which is synonymous with neuroscience) is an
interdisciplinary field of study that encompasses biology,
chemistry, and psychology.
Behavioral Science and Human Resource Management
(interdisciplinary)
- This interdisciplinary major provides students with the
knowledge and skills of the behavioral sciences as they may be
applied in the business world.
Psychology - The Department of
Psychology endorses a view of psychology as the use of scientific
methods to study a broad range of factors that often interact to
produce human behavior.
Sociology - The mission of
the sociology faculty at Oglethorpe is to introduce students to such
studies within a liberal arts setting by developing each student's
analytical, writing, speaking, and methodological skills, as well as
his or her ability to comprehend and explicate difficult texts.
Sociology with Social Work Concentration
- This program offers the benefits of a liberal arts education
