Oglethorpe 7th at Callaway
The Oglethorpe University men's golf team finished tied for 7th place overall in the Callaway Collegiate Invitational at Pine Mountain Georgia. The field consisted of 16 of the most talented golf teams in all of the southeast.
The Petrels shot rounds of 304-310 for a two day total of 616 that tied them with cross-town rival Emory University.
Senior Taylor Urbanski fired a 72-77-149 that was good for a sixth place tie overall in the 87 man field.
Freshman Ryan Peters racked up a 2-day total of 150 to finish tied for 10th place and Danny Swanick and David Dilibero carded matching two-day totals of 152 to tie for 18th place.
