A block of three (3) rooms have been reserved for each team participating in the Fall Preview.  (Contact Ann Marie should you have any questions).  This includes a continental breakfast consisting of fruits, juices, cereals, yogurt and pastries each morning at the La Hacienda restaurant.  A full breakfast may be purchased for an additional $4.

Car / Van Rentals

Dollar Rent-a-car has set up special prices for all rental cars and vans rented for the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Fall Preview.  Cars start out at $29 per day, 8-passenger vans start at $69 per day and 12-passenger vans will be $79 per day.  You may log onto www.dollar.com or call Dollar at (800) 800-4000.  You must enter the corporate discount code:  OI6045

Welcome Dinner

Friday, October 28.  6:30 p.m.

A welcome reception is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 28th at 6:30 p.m. in La Hacienda at the resort.  A buffet will be served.  The team entry fee includes the price of the buffet for five (5) players and one (1) coach.  Any additional parents or assistant coaches wanting to attend the banquet may purchase a ticket at registration for $20.  (Casual golf attire)

Coaches Meeting

Friday, October 28.  8:30 p.m.

The coaches meeting will be held on Friday, October 28th at 8:30 p.m. in the El Moro meeting room at the Mission Inn Golf & Tennis Resort.  Tournament policies, procedures and information will be discussed.

Awards Ceremony

Immediately following the final round of competition on Sunday, October 30th we will have an awards ceremony at the scoreboard of Mission Inn’s El Campeon course.  First and Second place teams will each receive awards.  The First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth place individuals in the tournament will receive individual awards.

Media Services 

Posted scores and golf statistics, which will be coordinated by Oglethorpe University and the Tournament Committee, will be available throughout the tournament.  Coaches, please be available as soon as each competition day concludes in case local members of the media are on hand to cover the event.

Hospitality Area

A hospitality area will be available during the competition rounds of the tournament between the 4th green and the 5th tee (this location is also between the 13th green and 14th tee).  The hospitality area will be open to tournament officials, coaching staff, committee members and participants.  Fruit, snacks, bottled water, soda and Powerade will be available.

Tournament Yardage

The tournament yardage will be set up at approximately 5825 and the par will be 73. Hole #'s 1, 7, 10, 14, and 17 will play as par 5's for the Division III Fall Preview. During their last visit, the NCAA Women's Division II / Division III had the course set up as a par 73 as well. The NCAA will do a site visit prior to the Preview and I will be working with the NCAA Committee to make the Preview set up like the NCAA Championship in the spring. .
