Chapman Wins Greensboro Invitational, Team Takes 4th Place
Oglethorpe University freshman Colin Chapman of Franklin, Tennessee fired rounds of 70-68 to win the Greensboro College Invitational by a healthy 5 strokes over the nearest competitor. Chapman, however, was competing as an individual for the Petrels and with his score not counting, the team wound up in fourth place, 14 strokes off the pace set by Huntingdon College.
Sophomore Olafur Loftsson shot rounds of 71-74 for a total of 145 which was good for a tied for 6th place finish. Fellow sophomore
Matt Rebitch was one stroke off Loftsson's pace and finished in a tie for 10th place.
