Dale, Gates Eye Women's Championships as Individuals
Oglethorpe University women's golfers Katie Dale and Julia Gates will begin competing today as individuals in the 2008 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships held in Waverly, Iowa and hosted by Wartburg College.
Dale, a sophomore from Peachtree City, Georgia, will be competing at the Women's Golf Championships for the first time after being named one of only eleven individuals selected by the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Committee.
Gates, a senior from Kennesaw, Georgia, will be making her second consecutive trip to the Championships after a solid tied for 18th place performance from one year ago.
