Dale, Lafferty Finish Fall Season Strong
Oglethorpe University women golfers Katie Dale and Elizabeth Lafferty wrapped up stellar fall seasons on the links this past week by each posting top-20 scores in the Rhodes College Fall Invitational.
Lafferty, a freshman from Warner Robbins, fired successive rounds of 84-77 for a 2-day total of 161 that secured her sixth place overall out of 80 competing golfers.
Dale, a junior from Peachtree City, shot 85-88 for a total of 173 to record a tied for 20th finish.
The Petrels will now wait out the cold months before getting back in action at the Orchard Spring Invitational in March.
