Men's Golf Takes Aim at School's First Ever National Title

The #2 ranked Oglethorpe University men's golf team begins their quest to secure the school's first ever national championship as the NCAA Division III Championships begin today at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia.

The Stormy Petrels enter today's round one trailing only Methodist College in the national rankings and will hope that the Championships being played close to home can give them an advantage on this the NCAA's grandest stage.
 
Oglethorpe will play today's round on the Woodland's Course teeing off from hole #10. Junior Hap Kaufold of Albany, Georgia will tee off first at 9:30 a.m. Freshman Matthew Rebitch of Delmont, Pennsylvania will follow Kaufold at 9:39 a.m. and sophomore Scott Pugh of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania will follow him at 9:48 a.m. Sophomore David Dilibero of Gainesville, Florida will be the fourth Stormy Petrel to tee off at 9:57 a.m. and senior All-American Taylor Urbanski of Loganville, Georgia will be the last tee off for Oglethorpe at 10:06 a.m.
