OU Women Golfers Finish in Second Place to Rhodes in Dual Match
The Oglethorpe University women's golf team kicked off their spring season by finishing second place to Rhodes College in a dual match. The Stormy Petrels wound up 46 strokes off the pace set by the Lynx on the Georgia Veterans Golf Course in Cordele, Georgia.
Oglethorpe sophomore Katie Dale shot an 89 to finish alone in second place behind Rhodes' Stephanie Mingos. Stormy Petrel senior Jessi Bonham shot a 94 to finish in second place as the Petrels competed without the services of top performer Julia Gates.
Oglethorpe is back in action at the Piedmont College Orchard Invitational next week.
