Phillips, Arola Named All-SCAC Third Team
Oglethorpe University freshman midfielder Courtney Phillips of Stockbridge, Georgia and senior midfielder Ryanne Arola of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan have been named as members of the 2009 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Third Team.

Women Topped by Tigers in Season Finale
The Oglethorpe University women's soccer team lost to the Sewanee Tigers in their final contest of the season on Saturday afternoon, 3-1. The game was preceded by senior day ceremonies as Oglethorpe said goodbye to four-year starter Ryanne Arola.

The Oglethorpe University women's soccer team was defeated by Southwestern on Salamone Field on Sunday afternoon, 2-1. The Petrels are now 5-10 on the season and will get set to host Emory this Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.

The Oglethorpe University women's soccer team dominated Atlanta Christian on the road on Tuesday night, 5-0. The Petrels got two first half goals from freshman Brittany Brotherton that were assisted by fellow freshman Courtney Phillips to easily outclass the Chargers.

The Oglethorpe University women's soccer team lost their first match of the 2009 season in Demorest, Georgia on Tuesday evening to the Piedmont College Lions, 3-1. The Lions scored their three goals on only six shots to send Oglethorpe to a 3-1 record on the season.
