OU students Ember Melcher (Economics Major, French Minor) and Ryan Nix (CRS Major, Art Minor) were each awarded prestigious internships at the Carter Center in Atlanta this year. These internationally competitive internships afforded both students rewarding opportunities to work in fields related to their academic interests. Ryan worked with the Curator of the Carter Center's permanent art collection, and Ember supported the Carter Center’s election observation missions with news updates and French translation. Both found their time at the Carter Center to be a useful and exciting addition to their OU education.
