The Health Center provides the following services:
- Accept and manage the required Immunization and Health History forms for all students
- Schedule monthly immunization clinics through DeKalb County Board of Health
- Schedule Flu vaccination clinics
- Offer the House Call Program (call 404-364.8413 and the Nurse will come to your dorm)
- Diagnose and treat acute common health problems such as sinusitis, strep throat, conjunctivitis, allergies, colds, sore throat, urinary tract infections, nausea, vomiting, and sprains/strains
- Prescribe and recommend medications in collaboration with clinic physician
- Assist with Physician referrals for HMO’s and other insurance plans upon request
- Pregnancy Testing
- Emergency Contraception ("Morning After Pill")*
- Offer Allergy Injection Clinic: Weekdays 10 a.m.-3p.m.
- Offer TB Screening (M, Tue, W only, $8.00 fee)
- CPR / First Aid Training
- Schedule Educational programs through out the semester
- Offer HIV and other STD Testing Referrals
- Notary services
