STUDENT JUDICIAL BOARD (SJB)
WHAT IS THE SJB?
The Student Judicial Board (SJB) is the peer judicial review board for the campus community at Oglethorpe University. The SJB meets once a week during the year and is responsible for hearing judicial cases involving alleged residence life policy violations. The board includes one student from the sophomore, junior, and senior classes, two students representing the first-year class (one may be a transfer), two students representing the Inter Fraternity Council and Inter Sorority Council, and a student with responsibilities on the Residence Hall Association.

HOW TO APPLY?
COMPLETE THE SJB APPLICATION TO APPLY! APPS DUE FRIDAY, APRIL 5TH, 2013 @ 5 PM!
The SJB needs responsible students who have excellent leadership and communication skills, who are committed to teamwork, and who have an interest in making a difference in their community. Students interested in applying should meet the following minimal requirements:
- 2.5 GPA at Oglethorpe University (or high school for First Year students)
- Full-time student status
- No prior violations of Oglethorpe or Residence Life Regulations
- Availability for weekly meetings Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
- Attendance at mandatory SJB training sessions
Please complete the application and email or return it to the Office of Residence Life in Alumni Hall Suite 14 no later than Friday, April 5th, 2013 at 5 p.m. Qualified applicants will be invited for an interview and SJB members will be notified in late April of their selection to the board.
