Cosmology Term Project/Paper

November 16 - Choice of project/paper topic due. Submit one paragraph typed description of your proposed topic. This may be a person, event, period of time, concept, or other topic having relevance to cosmology. Note that you may submit your topic electronically, if you wish.

December 7 - First draft (typed) of your project/paper due. The target length for your paper should be in the 5-6 page range. It may be longer, but should only be significantly shorter than this target range in an exceptional circumstance. The first draft will be reviewed by the instructor. First drafts will be returned along with comments, etc. on December 10. Again, drafts may be submitted electronically.

December 16 - Final draft of paper due in class. Final drafts must be typed or word processed, double spaced, with appropriate bibliography and footnotes. For each school day that the paper is late the grade will be reduced by one letter grade. Again, final drafts of the paper may be submitted electronically.
