Oglethorpe University is dedicated to protecting the privacy and

Protection of Personal Information
When an individual makes a donation, purchases a product, sends an
application, or otherwise contacts Oglethorpe University, we may ask
you for personal contact information such as name, address, and

the information or services that have been requested.
Neither Oglethorpe University nor our agents sell

In addition to personal contact information, when an individual makes a
donation or payment to Oglethorpe University we may ask for information, such as your billing address and credit card number. We

information is not shared with other organizations. Your credit

Privacy of Children
The Oglethorpe University website does not intend to
collect personal or financial information on-line from children
under the age of 13. We will not knowingly collect personal contact
information from children under age 13 without prior parental
consent.
Some sections of the Oglethorpe University website
do allow for individual users to post comments and contact
information on their own without prior review by Oglethorpe
University staff. These areas are intended for site users over
