This list of accessibility scholarships is provided as a courtesy. These scholarships are not provided by the university. 

Scholarship Opportunities for Students with Disabilities

Bottar Leone Scholarship – Bottar Leone, PLLC, is announcing its first scholarship for students with physical or learning disabilities (“Bottar Leone Scholarship”). The $2,500 scholarship will be awarded 2 times annually to a recent high school graduate with a documented physical or learning disability.

UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship – for students with Epilepsy and other seizure disorders.

American Association on Health and Disability – The Frederick J. Krause Scholarship on Health and Disability recognizes students with disabilities who are working to advance the broad field of disability and health.

180 Medical Scholarship Program – The 180 Medical Scholarship Program is open to full-time college students living with specific medical conditions, including spinal cord injuries, spina bifida, transverse myelitis, neurogenic bladder, or an ostomy.

National Federation of the Blind – Every year, the NFB awards more than $300,000 in cash and prizes to blind scholars in recognition of their achievements and professional aspirations.

Blind Veterans Association Scholarship – The Blinded Veterans Association’s Sue Cantrell Scholarships are available to spouses, children, and grandchildren of verified BVA members to assist with tuition.

Organization for Autism Research (OAR) Scholarship – The Organization for Autism Research’s scholarship program awards $3,000 scholarships to students across the autism spectrum. 

Claude S. Weiler Scholarship – The Claude S. Weiler Scholarship for Amputee College Students is available to full- time students who have undergone a major limb amputation. 

Lighthouse Guild scholarships – Lighthouse Guild offers up to 20 merit-based scholarships for students with vision loss who are newly transitioning to college or graduate education.

Academy of Special Dreams – The College Scholarships Fund is targeted to the traditional college-aged student with a disability who is pursuing either a full- or part-time course of study in any medium of Art.

AG Bell College Scholarship – Available to students with pre-lingual bilateral hearing loss in the moderate-severe to profound range who attend a mainstream and accredited college or university on a full-time basis. 

The Neurodiversity Scholarship – The Neurodiversity Scholarship is the largest national scholarship program investing directly in neurodivergent students, including those with learning differences such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Processing Disorders, Autism and other common challenges related to learning.
