What is your favorite thing about being an ambassador?
“I chose to apply due to my early interactions with Admissions and the experiences my family and I have been able to have. I am excited to work with others to provide memorable experiences for other potential students and their families, especially for those whose first language isn’t English.”
Why did you choose to attend Oglethorpe?
“I chose to attend OU because of its beautiful, open-minded campus, small classes, and support of undocumented students like me.”
- Member of Petrel Proletariat
- Alpha Sigma Tau
- Art Club
- President of OU Monarchs
Favorite spot on campus
“My favorite spot on campus is the outdoor seating area of the Cousins Center!”
Favorite off-campus spot or activity
“My favorite activity to do off-campus is heading out to the flea markets around Atlanta with my family.”
What advice do you have for prospective students?
“My best piece of advice for prospective students is to really focus on yourself and see if you can envision yourself at OU. College is a big step and it can be a lonely journey, but this is the time to get to know yourself, indulge in your education, and work towards your goals. Being able to do that at Oglethorpe is just a perk.”
What has been your favorite class so far?
“My favorite classes at Oglethorpe so far have been COR or Spanish with Dr. Chandler!”
