Territory: Adult Degree Program students

Hometown: Ashburn, VA

Education: Oglethorpe University! Class of 2012 through the Adult Degree Program.

Major: Communication with an English minor

Favorite Place at Oglethorpe: Underneath Hermance Stadium. It’s a cool hidden spot to take photos!

Favorite Place in ATL: Ponce City Market! It’s such a great microcosm of Atlanta culture and can be equally enjoyed by tourists and locals.

Why do you love OU?: I love Oglethorpe because we have a history of looking out for those who need it most.

Favorite OU Tradition (Favorite OU Memory): The Carillon Ceremony where graduating seniors get to climb to the top of the bell tower and strike the bells! It’s a really neat experience after having listened to them ring for 4 years.

What advice do you have to students?: Go to everything! The panels, the guest speakers, the big social events, the small events that sound kind of lame – do it anyway! Have those experiences while they are dropped in your lap and leave college with lots of interesting stories to tell.
