Favorite place on campus: I love the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art and all of their artwork and exhibits. There is always an exhibit and the artists have very original work that stands out.

Favorite place in ATL: I love all of the amazing restaurants in Atlanta, specifically The Flying Biscuits. The BEST breakfast meal you will have in Atlanta.

Why do you love OU?: When I first visited Oglethorpe in Summer 2013, I knew there was something different about the campus and the people. After visiting other larger institutions, I enjoyed that everyone on campus made me feel so at home. Since then, I’ve become more and more fond of the campus and the community that surrounds it.

Favorite OU tradition?: Battle of Bloody Marsh would have to be one of my favorite OU traditions. This is a high intense faculty vs. student tug of war and it is hilarious to watch and participate in.

What advice do you have for prospective students?: The best thing to do is start early on the Admissions Process and become familiar with your Admissions Counselor. This will give you more time to come to love Oglethorpe and everything it has to offer.
