Favorite Place at Oglethorpe: Conant Performing Arts Center. “I spent a lot of my waking (and sometimes sleeping) hours in Conant during my time at Oglethorpe as a member of the theatre department!”
Favorite Place in ATL: Plaza Theatre. “It’s a one-screen movie theatre/event venue that’s been in constant operation since 1939. It’s a great spot to watch a new or old movie on a giant screen while feeling like you’ve blasted to the past.”
Why do you love OU?: “The people and memories I gained in my four years here at Oglethorpe are irreplaceable. Buford Highway taco runs, on-campus parties, connecting with a teacher on a subject in satisfying ways, etc.—the little moments are what matter.”
Favorite OU Tradition/Memory: “The one that sticks out to me the most was during a screenwriting course where I was struggling to find my authorial voice. My professor (and author extraordinaire), Jessica Handler, guided me through my troubles and helped me come out on the other side with a screenplay I was proud of.”
