Dr. Francis X. (Frank) Pampush provides instruction in corporate finance and analytics in the Hammack School of Business at Oglethorpe University. Dr. Pampush’s interests are economic valuations, damages assessments, cost of capital, and data analytics. Dr. Pampush’s courses are informed by his experience as an expert analyst, where he developed economic and financial studies and models to address complex business decisions and litigation. Dr. Pampush has deep experience in the analysis of network industries such as communications & Internet, electricity, and oil and gas exploration and pipelines.
Dr. Pampush has statistically analyzed credit rating determinants for investor-owned and public power corporations. He has provided expert reports and/or testimony on cost of capital, discount rates, and country risk. Dr. Pampush managed the development of expert analysis and testimony in a multi-billion-dollar oil pipeline expropriation damages case with teams on three continents that ultimately was arbitrated at the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) in The Hague.
