Dr. Goodenberger joined Oglethorpe University in 2018 as an Assistant Professor of Economics. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Developmental Economics at The Ohio State University and his B.A. in Economics from Hastings College.

At Oglethorpe, Dr. Goodenberger offers courses in Environmental Economics, Principles of Microeconomics, and Principles of Macroeconomics. His research interests are in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics. Specifically, he is interested in the links between economic decisions and the spread processes of invasive species and wildfires.  He has presented his work at a variety of conferences and workshops across the country.
