Brookhaven’s baseball team is back for the 2025 season, and there’s no better place to catch the action than at Oglethorpe University! The Brookhaven Bucks, a wooden-bat collegiate summer team in the Sunbelt Baseball League, will once again call Oglethorpe’s campus home.
The 2025 schedule is officially out, so be sure to check when the Bucks play next. This year’s team features two of Oglethorpe’s own — Cian Khajavi ’28 and Drew Jabaley ’26 — so come cheer on your Stormy Petrels as they represent Brookhaven on the diamond.
Cian Khajavi ’28 is embracing this opportunity to enhance his skills this summer. “I am looking forward to meeting new people and sharpening my skills in preparation for my sophomore season at Oglethorpe. I enjoy playing with new faces because I can learn something new from everyone, which will help me become a better player,” he said.
Bring the whole family out for a game and enjoy an evening of baseball, player autographs, and so much more. The fun kicks off this weekend, with home games scheduled for both Friday and Saturday.
Founded in 2011 in the Sunbelt Baseball League, the Bucks have become a beloved summer staple in Atlanta. Don’t miss out on the excitement this season!
