Oglethorpe University has published its 2025-2026 Impact Report, showcasing the remarkable generosity of alumni, families, friends and supporters whose gifts continue to transform the student experience.

Between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, 1,146 donors contributed more than $3.75 million in charitable gifts, with an additional $882,000 in future pledges secured. Donor support throughout last year strengthened every corner of campus, from scholarships and housing assistance to faculty-mentored research, athletics, student retention and campus beautification.

The report also highlights a record-setting Oglethorpe Giving Day, which raised more than $304,000 from 265 donors. Annual fund support exceeded $1 million, helping to provide flexible resources that address the university’s greatest needs.

Throughout the report, students share firsthand stories of how philanthropy has shaped their Oglethorpe experience, making it possible to pursue research, study abroad, live on campus, compete as student-athletes and overcome unexpected financial challenges.
