The oldest professional dance company in America features performances that combine classic ballets and new choreography.

With more than 15,000 works of art in its permanent collection, the High has an extensive anthology of nineteenth- and twentieth-century American and decorative art; significant holdings of European paintings; a growing collection of African American art; and burgeoning collections of modern and contemporary art, photography, folk and self-taught art, and African art. The High is dedicated to supporting and collecting works by Southern artists.

Piedmont Park is an urban park in Atlanta, Georgia, located about 1 mile northeast of Downtown, between the Midtown and Virginia Highland neighborhoods. Less than a mile from the heart of Downtown Atlanta, Oakland Cemetery is the scenic resting place of more than 70,000 “residents” including Atlanta legends such as Margaret Mitchell, pro golfer Bobby Jones and Atlanta’s first black mayor, Maynard Jackson.
