Payscale’s College Salary Report is based on alumni salary data from 3.5 million respondents in different career stages representing more than 2,400 U.S. colleges and universities. The best value rankings are determined by the 20 year-net ROI of colleges and universities — or the amount of money a student can expect to earn over a 20-year period after graduating from a particular school.

The data presented is meant to help college-bound students research schools, majors and careers, and to discover which fields of study are most transferable to other career paths and offer the highest lifetime earning potential.
