Transcripts must be submitted in English from all secondary education institutions attended. Oglethorpe may request that transcripts be evaluated by SpanTran prior to submission. - Proof of Language Proficiency
Students must demonstrate English-language proficiency.

Passport
To proceed with the visa and immigration process, all students seeking an F-1 student visa must provide a copy of the picture page of their passport.
Declaration of Finances
To proceed with the visa and immigration process, all students seeking an F-1 student visa must demonstrate funding for at least one full-year at Oglethorpe. Funding may be demonstrated through the submission of bank statements from a student’s sponsor(s) (usually parents or guardians), and/or through the submission of an official letter from the bank certifying that the student has access to the requisite funds.

Official transcripts and score reports can be sent directly from a counselor, secondary school administrator, or testing agency to the Office of Admission at [email protected].
If needed, transcripts can also be mailed or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to the following address:

Copies of student passports, declaration of finances, and letters of recommendation can be uploaded by students directly into their online application at apply.oglethorpe.edu/apply, or sent via email to the Office of Admission at [email protected].
Yes! All international students are automatically evaluated for merit-based scholarships starting at $17,000/year. Furthermore, after admission, students can complete the Internal Financial Aid Form to be eligible for additional need-based aid.
Only students who are seeking F-1 student visas are considered international for admissions purposes. However, undocumented students are eligible to complete the Internal Financial Aid Form for additional need-based aid.
