OU community prepares for beloved Boar’s Head tradition

Each year to ring in the holiday season, the Oglethorpe community comes together for a beloved tradition, Boar’s Head. Although different from past years, this year’s 80th Boar’s Head celebration will usher in festive cheer and create lasting memories.

Typically held the first Friday of December, this year’s celebration will be broken into two dates: Nov. 22 for the student party and Dec. 6 for the alumni Evening of Holiday Enchantment, Omicron Delta Kappa induction, and a holiday concert by the Jazzy Petrels, the Oglethorpe University Singers and Chorale, and the Oglethorpe University Symphony.
