Now that conditions have improved across the Atlanta area, Oglethorpe University will resume normal operations Thursday, January 23. Safety is our priority. In-person instruction will also resume. Faculty and students should be prepared to return to campus.

Please travel carefully depending on conditions in your area. Contact your faculty member or supervisor if reaching campus will be a safety hazard or if you have caregiving responsibilities impacted by closures.

Facilities has been salting and keeping sidewalks clear, but please be mindful of residual ice in shady areas of the campus and the potential for black ice on area roadways while commuting to campus.
