Joint Enrollment Students
Students who have attained at least junior standing in their secondary schools may apply for enrollment in suitable courses offered at Oglethorpe University. Admission to the joint enrollment program will depend upon an assessment by appropriate personnel of the student’s secondary school and by Oglethorpe admission personnel.
In general, candidates must have the social maturity to benefit from a collegiate experience and possess at least a 3.0 grade-point average along with a minimum SAT CR+M score of 1140 or 25 on the ACT. Normally, no more than five courses may be taken as a joint enrollment student.
To begin the process, please complete the below application. Before we can consider your application, we will need an official secondary school transcript, official ACT or SAT (or PSAT under some circumstances) test results, letter of recommendation from a teacher and on-campus interview with Oglethorpe’s joint enrollment coordinator. Once all material is received, we will contact you to schedule an interview.
