Oglethorpe University’s Class of 2025 is proud to kick off the “Seniors for Students” campaign, continuing an annual tradition of seniors giving back to the university in a meaningful way.
This initiative allows graduating OU students to help fellow students and develop a culture of philanthropy among the university’s newest alumni. The Seniors for Students campaign is also a way for the Class of 2025 to reflect on its legacy and accomplishments at Oglethorpe as they prepare for their next steps.

Led by Senior Class President Nathania Adhisty ’25, this year’s campaign is dedicated to raising funds to support the Housing Scholarship at Oglethorpe. Living on campus offers more than just convenience – it fosters independence, academic success and a deeper connection to the Oglethorpe community.
Studies have shown that students who live on campus have a higher retention rate, higher GPAs and increased graduation rates. By donating to the Housing Scholarship through the Seniors for Students campaign, students will be investing in current and future Petrels to ensure they become fully immersed in the Oglethorpe campus life without worrying about the stress of an additional financial burden.
“Oglethorpe is more than just a campus—it’s a home for all of us,” said Adhisty. “As we prepare to leave the nest, supporting the Housing Scholarship through the Senior Gift Campaign ensures that a Petrel can experience that same sense of home, belonging and community, regardless of finances. By giving back, we’re making sure future students can experience the home Oglethorpe has been for us.”
Adhisty and her fellow Senior Senators are encouraging every member of the Class of 2025 to contribute to this initiative by the 2025 Carillon Ceremony in May.
Students are encouraged to donate $20.25 to honor their graduation year, but any amount is welcome. While every dollar matters, this is a collective effort to show the impact of the senior class coming together to leave a legacy. All members of the Oglethorpe community are invited to contribute to this initiative.
Giving is available through the Oglethorpe website.
