Major: Biology
What do you look forward to about being an ambassador?:
“I look forward to meeting prospective students and seeing them see the campus for the first time. It’s always a pleasure to hear what drew people to Oglethorpe and to see the diverse people that come here.”
Campus Involvement:
Student Ambassador
Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT)
ASIA
Retract Club
Favorite Spot on Campus:
“I am always in the library or the Cousins Center.”
Favorite Off-Campus Spot or Activity:
“I don’t have a specific go-to place off campus, but whenever I have free time, I love walking to Town Brookhaven with friends. It’s nice to go to a new location and relax regardless of if we have a place in mind or not. However, I do love going to parks, walking around, feeding the ducks, and having picnics. ”
What advice do you have for prospective students?:
“I think the most important thing to remind yourself of is that it is ok to not have everything together. It is ok to struggle. You are in a new environment, and it’s going to take some time to adapt to the changes. Life is not a straightforward path, so don’t let getting thrown off your ideal path discourage you. Never give up and keep trying; eventually, you’ll find yourself back on track to wherever life is meant to take you.”
