About us

The mission of the Office of the Controller is to protect the financial health of the university with sound fiscal practices, internal controls and balanced budgets. Our financial services team provides financial stewardship and services to Oglethorpe students and families, faculty, staff and related stakeholders to ensure fiscal management of university resources and operations.

What we do

• Pay university bills
• Invoice students for tuition and fees
• Collect all money due to the university
• Manage Truist corporate card processes
• Oversee the university purchasing programs
• Establish and maintain internal controls
• Provide financial reporting and audit compliance
