The Digital Collections of Oglethorpe University are made up of hundreds of photographs and publications from the Oglethorpe Archives. These images and texts document the extraordinary history of the university.

Yamacraw Yearbooks
This online collection features the entire set of Yamacraw yearbooks (1920 – 2008), excluding the 1954 and 1972 yearbooks, which were not digitized because of size limitations of the scanning equipment.

Athletics Photographs
This collection contains over 200 original photographs that document the athletics history of Oglethorpe University.

Yamacraw Athletics Images
Over 500 images from the Yamacraw yearbook were scanned in order to supplement and expand the Athletics photograph history.

Buildings and Grounds
This collection features several rare photographs documenting the history of the Oglethorpe campus, including the construction of Hearst and Lupton Halls between 1912 and 1927.

Campus Life in the 1950s
These images document life at Oglethorpe during the 1950s. The collection consists of over 200 images, primarily donated by Edmund and Martha Bator.

The Carillon
The Carillon magazines (2004 – 2010) have been digitized and are available online. Issues published since 2010 are available on the Marketing and Communications webpage. The Carillon is an award-winning magazine published twice a year for alumni, parents, and friends of the university.

Course Bulletins
This online collection features the Oglethorpe University course bulletins. The years that were digitized include: 1916 – 1942 and 1965 – 2012.

The Flying Petrel
Selected editions of The Flying Petrel alumni publication are now available for online viewing. The Flying Petrel is published several times a year by the National Alumni Association of Oglethorpe University. The 1956 – 1971 editions of the newsletter were digitized.

The Stormy Petrel
The Stormy Petrel is Oglethorpe University’s campus newspaper, established in 1919. This digital collection showcases only the 1993-1994 and 1994-1995 editions
