This Saturday, May 9, proud Oglethorpe friends and family will fill the academic quad, excited to celebrate the Class of 2026 as they graduate. The commencement ceremony begins at 9 a.m., and no tickets are required for guests. Find important commencement information below.
For Graduates
Graduates should report to the Library Atrium in Lowry Hall no later than 8 a.m.

For Guests
Parking and seats fill up fast, so guests should arrive early and be seated on the academic quad by 8:45 a.m. Guests are highly encouraged to carpool. Brookhaven Police Department will be at the Peachtree St. entrance to assist with traffic control, and volunteers will direct on-campus parking. Overflow parking will not be allowed in Town Brookhaven.
While the ceremony serves as an academic celebration, to ensure a safe environment, confetti cannons, smoke bombs, sparklers, etc., are not allowed.
The ceremony will be livestreamed in English and Spanish.
