The Chick-fil-A Scholarship

chick-fil-a_logo_2012This partnership ensures that eligible employees of Chick-fil-A restaurants receive a minimum of $20,000 in total institutional aid from Oglethorpe. The scholarship is renewable for a maximum of four years provided the recipient continues to meet eligibility requirements, enrolls in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester and remains in good academic standing.

Eligible participants should be an employee working at a Chick-fil-A branded restaurant, a Dwarf House, Truett’s Grill, Truett’s Luau, or Truett’s Pizza Café restaurant location.

Requirements:

  1. Arrange for the employer to send a certified letter to the university confirming that he/she has been employed by that employer for at least two consecutive years.
  2. Complete the application for admission and submit all required credentials.
  3. Complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov using Oglethorpe’s FAFSA code 001586
