Housing & Dining

Home, sweet home. And homemade pizza.

housingHousing

One of the best parts of life at Oglethorpe? We’re all working together to build a close-knit community of quirky, kind, and talented individuals with a million different interests. Residence life is a huge part of that experience, so all students live on campus for three years, and some choose to stay until they graduate.

All seven residence halls are designed with student comfort in mind. You can count on having a cozy place to study, socialize, and sleep. (Or do a load of laundry, for free. Or gather in the game room. Or get together with a study group. Or…)

Student staff members play an active day-to-day role in managing life in the dorms. Regularly scheduled social activities give classmates and hall-mates a fun chance to bond.

DiningDining

If home-style meals made from scratch sound like tasty college fare… you’ve come to the right place. The Petrel’s Nest is an all-you-care-to-eat dining hall inside the Turner Lynch Campus Center, with tasty options like fresh hot pizza, a crisp and crunchy salad bar, and a Mongolian grill with made-to-order stir-fry.

Bulk meal plans make mealtimes super simple — just flash your Petrel Pass to pay. So you can fly on through and get fed, without worrying about long lines.

There’s also a full-service coffee shop, Stormy Brews, inside the Turner Lynch Campus Center, where you can grab a quick snack on the way to class or linger with a latte in the game room.
